Storytelling First: I am a storyteller at heart. My goal is to create a layered and nuanced portfolio of images that transports you back to the magic of your wedding day. Every shot contributes to the narrative of your love story.
I adopt a mostly candid, photojournalistic style, capturing genuine moments and expressions without interruption. However, I will offer gentle "art direction" when needed, giving you subtle prompts to ensure you look confident and natural in front of the camera, not awkwardly posed.
Focus on the "Punctum": Drawing inspiration from aesthetic philosophy, I look for not just the general beauty of a scene (the studium), but the personal details or expressions (the punctum) that make an image deeply personal and transform it from one you like into one you love.
Creative Composition: I'm always looking for unique angles and perspectives—willing to climb a wall or get a little unconventional—to find that one-of-a-kind shot that captures the energy and wonder of the moment.
Your wedding photos will be a time capsule, a family heirloom that evokes a sense of nostalgia and an enduring, sentimental connection to your memories.

Architectural Gems: For a classic, "Old World" feel, the University of Tampa offers iconic minarets and Moorish architecture. The Oxford Exchange is another favorite for its blend of modern luxury and historic charm, perfect for moody, literary-inspired portraits.
Natural Beauty: Sunken Gardens in St. Petersburg provides a lush, botanical fairytale setting. If you prefer a more rustic Florida vibe, the Spanish moss-draped oaks at Philippe Park or the wide-open shores of Fort De Soto are unbeatable for golden hour light.
Urban Vibes: The Tampa Riverwalk and Curtis Hixon Park capture the city's modern skyline and vibrant energy, especially beautiful as the city lights up at dusk.

Whether you envision a high-fashion urban shoot or a barefoot ceremony at sunset, this region provides some of the most stunning backdrops in Florida.
The Value of Your Engagement Session
Most people aren't used to being professionally photographed. This session is a relaxed way to shake off any camera shyness, and get a feel for my photographic style.
It gives us time to get to know each other, so I'm not a stranger walking into your wedding day.
These photos provide a variety of images in non-wedding attire, reflecting your everyday personalities and style. You can use these images for anything you whish.
We have the time to get creative with locations, outfits, or even incorporating hobbies and pets, something that might be harder to fit into a busy wedding day timeline.
Planning Your Session
Location: The best locations are often places that hold special meaning to you (where you first met, a favorite park or coffee shop, etc.). We can work together to choose a location that fits the vibe you're hoping for.
Outfits: I suggest choosing one casual and one more formal outfit to get a variety of shots. Most importantly, wear something you feel amazing and comfortable in!
